Will of Anthony Yoder, 1852 (translation by Tim Conrad from will book German version - forgive my rough translation)

In the Name of God Amen

I Andon Jotter, of Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, in State Pennsylvania, yeoman, though weak in body, however of sound mind, memory, and understanding, seeing the certainty of this life, have made this, my last Will and Testament, that is to say, first I give my soul unto the hand of God any my body I commit to the earth and my wordly goods, with which God has blessed me, I must prescribe how to dispose, namely, first it is my will:

(in the following, it's unclear to me if the money is owed to or from the children) 1. Item. owed my daughter Maria one hundred dollars which her daughter Lusienen must have (??) 2. Item. owed my daughter Catharina, fifty dollars, her children must have it so my Executors must pay this to the parents from my estate (??) 3. Item. owed my daughter Judit, should have two hundred dollars, which she already had from my inheritance and she should have no more (??) 4. Item. owed my son Peter yearly two hundred dollars yearly from his land to pay with interest until it is paid off. 5. Item. owed my son Harrison two hundred dollars yearly from his land with interest until it is paid.

I nominate and order herewith my son Peter and Daniel Herner to be my Executors, who are to take my property and money and distribute it in equal parts to my children apart from the above tasks.

My Executors must execute my last Will and Testament, to the document I, Andon Jotter, the testator have signed in my own hand and sealed.

Done this 13th day of November 1852, signed sealed made and established by Andoni Yotter the testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us which by his request we have signed our names

Daniel Herb Jacob W. Maurer
